For Blog #3, post a COMMENT (do NOT write a new post) to someone else’s Blog #2 that shares your robot.

Comment on what another group member who shares your same robot said about difficulties he/she faced in our first programming attempts at enabling the robot to travel 4 meters. In other words, did you have similar issues? How did you overcome those issues? If you didn’t have similar issues, can you offer him/her any advice about the difficulites he/she did have? Or, are you surprised that he/she did not encounter an obstacle that you did? Why did you have this problem when he/she didn’t?

As you are researching your robots I thought you might be interested to know that information found on the NASA site is in the public domain. This means NASA, a government agency, will permit you to republish 3-D models, videos, and images (and other files) on your blog!

Dear Students,

I’ve just noticed that a few of you are posting your responses to Blogging Assignment #1 as a reply/comment to the “Hello World” post on your Robot’s blog. This post is just a holding spot until the first student in your group writes a blog post.

You are being asked to do the following things once you have changed your password and are ready to work on your assignment:

1. Go to your email and find the email from WordPress that reads something like: Robotics…Joining Confirmation.

2. Open the email and click on the second link confirming that you are going to be an author for the specific robot blog noted.

3. You will receive a confirmation statement that offers you the opportunity to go Log In to your blog. Click on that link and then go login, and then proceed to WRITE. It is here that you will write your blog post.

Please watch the following tutorial (also found in the post below titled Video Tutorial) to see how and where to write your post. DO NOT COMMENT ON THE HELLO WORLD POSTS! (I am deleting those comments right now….;0)

Summarize your experience thus far with creating programs that enable your robot to travel 4 meters in a straight line. Was it hard or easy? What challenges/obstacles did you encounter? What have you learned about the variables that you have changed thus far (power, duration amount, duration type, direction, etc…)? What variable determines how far the robot will travel? What variable determines how fast the robot will travel?
