Lots of stories have morals, but we do not even think about it. My grandmother told me a funny story once. In this story, My Great-Grandmother tells my grandmother that it is time for lunch, and they are having bologna sandwiches. My grandmother hates bologna. My great-grandmother leaves to go talk to one of her friends on the phone. My grandmother tries to dispose of the bologna. First, she throws it on the ceiling (she was 5) and it sticks. So, she takes a broom and pulls it off. Then, she tries to put it down the garbage chute, but it sticks to the outer rim. So, my Grandmother then throws it down the cellar stairs as she hears someone coming. My great-grandfather then is walking up the cellar stairs, and the bologna hits him. She gets in trouble, and then has to eat some bologna. (she was allowed to get a new piece) The moral of this story is not to take shortcuts through life. Sometimes, the easiest path is still difficult. If you always take the path that will save you at the moment, it will bring you down later. If my grandmother had eaten the bologna, she may have been disgusted by it, but it would have saved her being grounded if she did.

I read that people with blue eyes see lighter colors than people with brown eyes.

I have blue eyes, and find it strange to think that my freinds with brown eyes are experiencing a totally different world than I am. What if my Navy is their turquise? This website says that people with brown eyes do better with glares. Somtimes when I am outside with my friend Lindsey(brown-eyed), I can’t bear the light. I feel blinded, and have to shut one eye. I explain to her how blinding the sun is, but she tells me no, it is normal too me. It seems so alien to me to think that we all see the world differently. This website also suggests that brown-eyed people see better at night. That seems weird to think that when I think it is dark, someone else might not think that. How does a scientist come to this conclusion? You cannot measure this type of thing like you can the mass of an egg, or the length of a carrot. This article also suggests that men with blue eyes prefer women with blue eyes. My parents are both blue-eyed, and all of my grandparents are too. I do not know if I belive that, because I know plenty of mixed-eyed couples. It intrigues me to think that one small change in color can cause a whole different world.
