Once there was a meterologyst that wanted to find out more about life on Mars. He diciede that the best way to do this was to program a robot. He programed it to fly into outer space and gave it just the right amount of duration for it to land on mars. The meteorologyst hoped that his robot would be able to be the first to find something living on mars. When he sent the robot into outer space he was upset because he programed the robot wrong and it went in the oposite direction and landed on Mucury. But he didn’t stay sad for long because the robot still did find something cool. The robot found a rare rock that couldn’t be found anywhere else. THen the robot brought the rare rock back, and the meteorologyst got very rich when he sold the rock, and he and his amazing robot lived hapily ever after!!!!!!!!!

HARLEY’S BLOG ASSIGNMENT #4 CONTINUING…
Once on a far away planet called Mars the aliens were searching for samples of bones or dirt on Earth. They didn’t know what to do so they started to think like the humans. They thought of what they would do and what they have previously done. A ROBOT!!! Thats what they thought of. They found the materials gathered them together and built a robot. They had to program it but since they didn’t have computers they had to used solar power energy stuff. They had to program it to fly, a fast enough speed, and a far enough duration to make it last the whole way, they only got one chance to make it go to earth and back. They tested it on the planet first everything worked out great they just had to fix it to go to Earth and far enough. The aliens made the duration and everything longer/ faster they sent the robot off later that month. The robot hasn’t got back yet but they will discover if it actually worked in about a year. That is my robot programming story!!

faiz’s 4th post better than the last one
If there were some scientists who wanted to send a spacecraft up in space to explore Mars, then programming would be necissary so it doesn’t fall in a crater or go into a cave. They would need to programe the robot for when it needed to go straight, when it needs to turn, and how to manuever different obstacles. So if the robot wanted to go take pictures of a volcanoe on Mars it would need programing to find it’s way to the volcanoe, and avoid crashing.

HARLEY’S BLOG ASSIGNMENT #4
It would probably be very complicated because we are just doing little mini robots and they have to rove on a planet compared to a carpet.

Griffin’s 4th Blog
Programing robots or rovers in space would be necessary because a person would have to steer it and make it do things. Say a rover just landed on Mars. The landing was a little rough. Scientists on earth would have to program it to regain its balance and cary on with the mission. Then if they wanted to send it back early they could program it to go back early.

If some scientists wanted to send a spacecraft up to Mars the things they would need to think about would be how far do they want to program it. How fast do they want the robot to go. Where to make turns. They also need to figure out how to manuever between different things on the planet so the robot doesn’t crash or fall into a crater. Those are the things scientists should think about.

Nicholas’s 4th post.
Say scientist wanted to explore a cave or canyon on mars. They would need to program the robot of how fast it would go and how deep it should go into the cave. They would hot want it to go too fast because it might hit something and spin out of control. It also should not go to deep becase it might fall off something in a cave or fall off a rock on a canyon. Those are some of the things they should think about.

blog Asignment #2
Even though it took us many times in order to do a strait line with cool effects we finally got it and finished the 4 meters we were very proud. Some problems that we experienced was that when I would do certain clicks to the left or right, if we clicked left it would go right, if I clicked to the right it would turn left. I have learned that duration was how far it went rather than the speed. The duration is how far it travels and the power determines how fast it goes.

Robot
I think its been really cool. Except the 4 meters in a straight line was easy. The power doesn’t matter, thats just how much power goes to the motors the more power, the faster it goes. If you program it to go forward 3 rotations no matter the speed it will go 3 rotations.
