Shadowing
Standing tall,
Overbearing.
Ticking Always,
Never stopping.
Tells when darkness has come,
When light arrives,
Always ticking.
A child,
Hiding, hiding in the dark, the shadows,
Waiting for light to come.
The sound he hears,
The only sound there,
The ticking of his heart.
The ticking of fear,
The ticking of hope
What do you think of this poem? What does it mean? The first seven lines are reffering to something, what do you think it is?

One of my favorite bands is Rise Against. They have been around since 1999 or so, and one of their songs is in the new Guitar Hero game, Guitar Hero World Tour, the song is Re-Education (I would’ve embeded it but they disabled the ability to do so). I know it has a weird name (sorta) but, I think it is a good song. A cool fact is that the lead singer has two different colored eyes. Which if you watch the linked movie you will see, the movie below has just the cover of the album. Their genre is hard/punk rock.
If you did listen to the song and like this song you can download it from iTunes or buy the album Appeal to Reason. Now, more to the point, what do you think this song means? Remeber the quote at the begining of the video, “those who make peaceful revoloution impossible will make violent revoloution inevitable.” – JFK. You can see more of their songs on their YouTube page or you can find more of their songs on iTunes.
Here is another one of their songs, it is called Savior…

NBC has started a new series called Kings. Kings is a show that is about the King and his family and all the decisions and choices he makes. Tied into all of this is Capt. David Shepard, he saved the prince of Gilboa, the fictional country the show takes place. It has all the hard ships of family, royal events, quests for bringing down the King and all the kind of stuff you’d expect to see/hear about in the life of the royal family. The King, King Silas Benjamin, is played by Ian McShane. Capt. David Shepard is played by Chris Egan. Here is the comercial for it:
The show is on Saturday nights at 8:00 pm. You can watch full episodes on their website. What do you think of it?

The Honda FCX Clarity…
Top Gear Review
The FCX Comercial
Honda’s contribution to the world of alternate energies. The Honda FCX Clarity is a hydrogen fuel cell vehical. What makes this car different is that instead of releasing CO2 into the air it releases water. All you have to do is fill it up with 4.1 kg of compressed hydrogen and then you are good to go for 240 (or so) miles.Unfortunatly, It is only available in southern California on lease only. It is $600 a month but, that includes repairs and maintenance. If you watched the Top Gear Review you will have seen Jay Leno say that it is the savior of the car. The world will run out of oil one day and then what will we do with all of our cars? How would we be able to switch from gas to alternate energies? We won’t be able to we will have to spend time waiting for car manufacturers to program there machines to build cars diferently and that would take some time. Do you think this car will be the savior of the car? Is it the most important car of today? What do you think of it in general?

The Aston Martin One-77…
This video talks about the Aston Martin One-77′s engine and chasis. This car cost about 2.2 milion dolars and there will only be 77 of the ever made…hence the name. The engine produces approximately 700bhp produced by a 7.3 liter V-12. If you go to the One-77′s website you will see more photos and two other video of it, as well as a few pictures. The first Aston Martin One-77 will be finished later this year, the rest will be finished next year. Aston Martin fully unveiled the One-77 at the Geneva Auto Show. At Geneva Aston Martin also unveiled the Aston Martin DBS Volante and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage.
______________________________________________________________________________________
Would you buy a multi-milion dolar car if you had the money? What is your favorite car (It can be any)?
Depending on what car it is, I might buy it, like I would buy the Aston Martin One-77 or the Lamborghini Reventon. My favorite car is either the Aston Martin One-77 or the Koenigsegg CCXr

Last week a story teller came to our school. He told stories of the tricky fox and how stories came to earth. He had also told us of a tribe who lived on an island when a tsunami came. They remebered a story that would save there lives. Because of the story they all survived the tsunami without any lives lost. We had two homework assignments based off of his visit. One of which is this one, write a story of an event in your life. So here is mine…
When I was very young, maybe 15 months old, my mom couldn’t find me anywhere. She looked everywhere, in her bedroom, in my room, and in the kitchen. As my mom went into the front room she noticed the front door was ajar. She went over and looked out, she saw me standing on the driver’s seat, hands on steering wheel and keys in the ignition. I was able to grab my mom’s keys, unlock the front door, unlock the car, and open the door. Remember that I was only 15 months old, I climbed into my mom’s Honda Civic and I put the keys in the ignition and just stood there. I had always been intrigued by my mom’s keys. She says where ever we went I held our keys. Eventually my mom found me standing there, she was scarred that I had run away but when she saw me in the car she joined me. Eventually she offered me a snackand we went inside.
THE END
These days I have been known to like cars. My favorite being either the Aston Martin DBS or the Koenigsegg CCX.

Everyone has their own thoughts, abillities, and feelings. Everyone’s conscience drives them to do things that another person wouldn’t even dream of. Bands have lots of creativity to be able to write a song. Others may be talented in the fine arts or sports. Weather or not you realize it everyone excels at something. Everyone has their own mindset. Everyone has there own opinion to who is the best or most fit. Republican versus Democrates, most people will take sides and just because you go to a school that is mostly of Republicans {or Democrates} doesn’t mean everyone is going to be on the same side as you. Something you intend to be a joke might be an insult to another person. Every person interacts with other peoples differently. On Sydney’s blog, she asked “What Makes You You”. Imagine the world without diversity. Everyone likes the same band, everyone likes the same sports and everyone thinks the same way as everyone else. That would end those WOW! moments when you understand something or create some masterpiece. Imagine the world without wars. Imagine the world without cars. Imagine the world without hundreds of bands and just one. Wouldn’t it get boring? How would you feel if the world was made up of people who think the same and everyone were the same? What would the world be like if everyone was exactly like you? Would it be better or worse?

Saturday 24th was the Palm Beach Supercar Weekend, there the Koenigsegg CCX made its American debut. The Koenigsegg CCX is the third fastest car in the world. The SSC Ultimate Aero TT being the fastest at 255mph than the Bugatti Veyron at 253mph. Unfortunatly neither of those two cars where there. The Ferrari P4/5, a one off supercar based off of the Ferrari Enzo. Many other supercars where there as well as a few other older supercars. The Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Gallardo 560-4 and the Nissan GT-R are just a few of the many super cars there.
