I watched/listened to Kicking It up a Notch: Games in Education but I really didn’t love the format. I guess I’m not a fan of listening to something on line. I would rather read it or see it in the format of a slideshow. I found I became very impatient with the time it took especially since I felt some of the information wasn’t that important to me. I actually preferred looking at the website about this presenter, Sylvia Martinez. The information was more concise here and I was able to pick and choose what I wanted to use very quickly. I found Quest Atlantis that I might find useful as we look at sustainability for the sixth grade this upcoming year. But no, I’m not a fan I guess of the online conference.
