Reading Policy
The Lovett School expects all students to read during the summer. This list is a guide for summer reading of favorites and books "too good to miss." Please feel free to read other books by the authors mentioned, or subsequent books in a series. Each student should keep a list of books read. Students may also read books not on this list. Many of these books may be found in your neighborhood public library. They are all available in the Dorothy Floyd Library. Click on the title of a book to go to the summary in the Dorothy Floyd Library catalog.
Please leave books in the office if the library is closed.
